April Challenge Winner and Highlights

Hey, mixed media card artists! The April gallery had 94 super gorgeous floral-inspired mixed media cards. Can you say wow? :o) Time to announce the winner and highlights.

Here's the mixed media card that the design team voted as the winner:

Congratulations, Filharmonica! Please grab your winner badge below to display proudly on your blog.

And now here are the highlights. The girls in the design team picked an entry to highlight. It's the entry that uniquely impacted us in some way -- a specific technique that was used, the colors, the creativity, or something in it that touched or impacted us.

Deepti's highlight: #90 Greta H
Deepti says, "The big bold flower in Greta's card stole my heart. Congrats!"

Elina's highlight: #74 Karen
Elina says, "Love the beautiful earth tones and the gorgeous stamping. This great design proves that you don't necessarily need to use vibrant and bold colours for creating a card that really stands out!"

Jan's highlight: #51 Julie Gearinger
Jan says, "The fuzzy-cut flowers are stunning on this background created with several layers of mixed media goodness."

Jenny's highlight: #91 Suchi
Jenny says, "I love the vibrant colours, the distressing, the stamping and texture."

Julia's highlight: #30 Filharmonica
Julia says, "Beautiful color tones of cream, green, brown - wonderful texture with paper layers and paint, gorgeous spray of flowers."

Lyndal's highlight: #16 Suzz
Lyndal says, "Just LOVE the white rabbit darting through the flowers & cool window with the sentiment peeping through!"

Loll's highlight: #53 Donna of Inky & Quirky
Loll says, "The gorgeous bright green brusho background pairs perfectly with the beautiful stamped and popped up purple flower.  Cheerful and fun colour combination and fabulous design."

Maria F.'s highlight: #45 Pamellia
Maria says, "Absolutely gorgeous BG with wonderful white crayon highlights and clever to use a calendar page to mark baby's arrival."

Shirley's highlight: #54 Susan B
Shirley says, "I love the colour and texture of Susan's background panel, and it contrasts beautifully with the diecut flowers."

Congratulations, ladies! Grab your badge below to display proudly on your blog.
